 Industry Reviews

The Chrysler Town & Country gets a host of mechanical, styling and interior improvements for 2011.

Responding to major makeovers from Honda, Toyota, and Nissan, the Dodge Grand Caravan and the Chrysler Town & Country roll into 2011 extensively freshened. Included: interior upgrades, styling updates, suspension revisions, and Chrysler's new 3.6-liter direct-injection Pentastar V-6.

 Consumer Reviews

I looked at the Odyssey and Sienna first, was gonna buy the Sienna, but I just couldn't finish the deal. The Chrysler is more attractive, more comfortable, a better drive, a much better value, has a better warranty, and, I must say, gives me more peace of mind than the Toyota, for sure. - T. Bevington

We just got our 2011 T&C Touring last week. What a huge improvement from last year. The new engine is peppy, the interior is gorgeous. The updated suspension and handling is awesome for a minivan- not floaty like the rest. - Chris

The minor exterior changes are perfect, but the interior changes are what make this van most enjoyable to drive. - Unknown

Your Cargo Is Also Precious To Us.

When equipped with this package, the Chrysler Town & Country offers 42 features that help you maintain control, alert you of potential hazards, and help protect your family. From the ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System+ to Blind Spot Monitoring+ and Rear Cross Path Detection+, from SmartBeam® Intelligent Headlamps and Rain-Sensitive wipers to seven standard airbags, we've made our minivan safer than ever.

So Much More Than a Mirror.

The power exterior mirrors available on the Chrysler Town & Country are a perfect example of multitasking technology. In addition to having a heat feature, being adjustable with the touch of a button, dimming automatically to help reduce glare at night, and automatically tilting down when the vehicle is shifted into reverse ? these mirrors house integrated turn signals and blind spot and rear cross path alerts.

High-Tech Eyes in the Back of Your Head.

Providing extra help when backing up, the ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System+ uses sensors to detect nearby obstacles while in reverse. When it detects an object that might be outside your line of sight, ParkSense alerts you with a warning display located in the instrument cluster's Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) and an audible tone indicating the distance between the rear bumper and the detected obstacle.

283 Horses Don't Drive Like a Minivan.

The Chrysler Town & Country features a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine coupled with the AutoStick six-speed transmission, delivering best-in-class 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque+ with fuel economy ratings of 17 city / 25 highway mpg+.

This extremely refined engine features a compact, lightweight design with dual-overhead camshafts, high-flow intake and exhaust ports, Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Throttle Control with integrated speed control.

Improve Fuel Economy in an Instant.

Affect your overall fuel economy+ during normal driving conditions with a selectable fuel economizer, which adjusts engine timing and transmission shift points to optimize fuel economy. The transmission will upshift sooner, downshift later and skip select gears during shifts to allow the engine to operate at lower speeds. The torque converter clutch will engage sooner and remain on longer, and the engine idle speed will be lower. To activate this feature, just press the "ECON" button in the center stack, and a green light will indicate the ECON mode is engaged.
